Paris Dinner Dress - White moire robe. The corsage, low and pointed, is trimmed round the top with a fold of blue satin, which is edged with Mechlin lace. The sleeves, very short and tight, are trimmed at the bottom with two falls of lace, which turn up in full plaits; a knot of blue ribbon ornaments each sleeve, and the centre of the breast. The skirt is trimmed with a broad lace flounce, headed by a bouillon, through which a blue ribbon is drawn; it terminates in a knot on one side. The head-dress is a bonnet a la Blanche of tulle, embroidered in gold, and gold flowers.
Paris Evening Dress - Robe of rose-coloured velours des Indes; it is trimmed in the demi-tunic style, with Mecklin lace, headed by a row of puffs of rose satin ribbon; the corsage, cut low and pointed, is trimmed a l'enfant with lace. A row of puffs of ribbon, terminating in a knot, encircles the lace at the bottom of the sleeve, and a bust formes of coques and ends ornaments the centre of the breast. The turban, of a small size and a novel form, is composed of green velvet, trimmed with chefs d'or and gold fringe.
